THEIR CHALLENGE

After acquiring more than a dozen smaller companies throughout the Pacific Northwest and California over time—all of which operated under independent brands—this sustainable biofuels brand needed a new, single identity for their customers, partners, and employees to rally around. 

Our approach

We designed and conducted interviews and discovery sessions with employees at every level—from used cooking oil collectors to senior leadership–to get a better sense of the guiding ethos behind the brand. We visited facilities and created spaces where SeQuential’s people could express their vision and align their purpose with a unified brand architecture.

The Result

Refreshed brand identity, actionable content strategy, and compelling creative that accentuated the best of the brand, what they stood for, why they existed, and where their various audiences fit in. 

After our work, SeQuential experienced a period of explosive growth, which led to its eventual sale to Mahoney Environmental.
